Hello

Ok, this is my first time doing a "real" blog. I am officially de-flowered now. I am doing this as a way for everyone to keep up to date with Jack and as a journal for myself and for Jack at a future date. I now know that I failed miserably at writing down what Jack did as a baby, so I am hoping to redeem myself somewhat.

Jack is an incredibly special child, no bias there, right?! I am truly amazed at what he comes up with and how his mind processes so much information. He can be told something once and remember it. Or, he can be told something twelve times and still not do it. Typical, I guess.

So, Jack and I are both hooked on American Idol. I TiVo it so I don't have to worry about missing a minute of it. Jack knows when it comes on and asks to watch it the next morning, before he goes to school! How can you not enjoy people singing their tone deaf little hearts out, only to be amazed that they are denied that golden ticket to Hollywood??

Well, I will do my best to keep this updated regularly and look forward to hearing from all of you!
